Not to be confused with less superior "re-conditioned gear boxes" These are simply stripped, cleaned and put back together replacing ONLY the worn parts. Morspeed gearboxes only re-use the gear case and gears, All other components are replaced for competition quality parts. BE WARNED !!

RE-BUILT ROD OR REMOTE 4-SYNCRO 998-1275-SPI-MPI:

One of the best Re-Built gearbox's available, Completely stripped and ALL parts replaced with only top quality HIGH GRADE components.

The gear box case is chemically dipped and cleaned back to bare aluminium then prepared for assembley, all threads are checked and surfaces made flat.

The original helical gears are checked and replaced if required. Syncro hubs are stripped and fitted with new springs, the selector forks are checked and replaced if nessercery, fitted with new up-rated heavy duty double, single and needle bearings, Genuine Baulk-rings and High grade center pick up pipe, The gearbox is then assembled with a re-built differential unit using a competition diff pin and Planet gears with a Final drive ratio of  your choice.

RALLY STRAIGHT CUT CLOSE RATIO ROD OR REMOTE 4-SYNCRO 998-1275:

A gearbox designed for very hard driving, it includes a full straight cut conversion, Quaife ATB differential which is fitted with a straight cut final drive and pot or hardy spicer out-put shafts.

The gear box case is chemically cleaned back to bare alluminium, machined to accept the L.S.D then prepared for assembley checking all threads and making sure surfaces are flat. The sump thread is replaced with a steel insert to eliminate any problem during oil changes.

The gears are straight cut close ratio evolution type, syncro hubs are stripped and fitted with new springs, The selector forks are checked and replaced if nessercery, Fitted with new up-rated heavy duty double, single and needle bearings, new layshaft, Genuine Baulk-rings and High grade center pick up pipe. The gearbox is then assembled with straight cut drop gears, Quaife L.S.D unit using a straight cut Final drive ratio of  your choice.

FULL RACE CLUTCHLESS DOGBOX ROD OR REMOTE 998-1275:

A gearbox designed for full race use, it includes a clutchless Swift shift dog engagement gear set, straight cut roller drop gears and a race L.S.D which is fitted with a straight cut final drive and pot or hardy spicer H/Duty out-put shafts.

The gear box case is chemically cleaned back to bare alluminium, drilled for the larger 5/16 sump bolts, machined to accept the L.S.D then prepared for assembley, checking all threads and making sure surfaces are flat. The sump thread is replaced with a steel insert to eliminate any problem during oil changes.

The gear set used is the Quaife swift shift able to provide clutchless changes for ultra fast gear changing. The selector forks and shaft are brand new H/Duty items, and the gearbox is fitted with new up-rated heavy duty double, single and needle bearings, new genuine layshaft, and high grade center pick up pipe, straight cut roller drop gears are fitted (no idler brgs needed), The gearbox is then assembled with a Quaife ATB L.S.D unit using a straight cut Final drive ratio of  your choice.
