Also new to the Morspeed twincam range is a SUPER-CHARGE conversion, although turbo charging is an option we feel the super charger gives a smoother power delivery giving less stress on the 'A' series gearbox. using the super charger allows the use of milder camshafts eliminating any iratic idle or unusable power low down in the rev range.

We have now been asked by so many people if we can provide the twincam 8v & 16v conversion kit using the original BMC distributor and a pair of weber DCOE 40 or 45 carbs purely for that old school retro look.

Well Morspeed are now pleased to release our bespoke DCOE inlet manifolds in 2 sizes, both manifolds are available to accept 40-45DCOE type carbs and either trumpets or ITG type filters.

1)   6" traditional long track manifold for massive low down torque but will require extreme front bonnet modifications. (the filters/trumpets will protrude through the bonnet) priced at £200.00

2)   1" super short plate manifold allowing the carbs and filter to fit inside the STD bonnet with no external modifications. priced at £180.00

Both manifolds include the water outlet & come port polished but will require port matching to the cylinder head to get a perfect seamless flow. this is available at an extra cost of £45

And finally we can now boast that we supply the best exhaust manifold available for the twincam conversion with the help of leading exhaust manufacture MANIFLOW, working alongside maniflow in various tests we have designed what we feel to be the most efficient performing and best fitting manifold money can buy.

The manifold is a direct replacement for the 5-port LCB and will connect to any existing 1.78" exhaust system fitted to the car.
