There are many different after market cylinder heads available to replace the 5-port, this includes the Arden 8-port and the AKM 7-port. All these are based around 8 valve x-flow port design as it is the shared 5 port siamese design which restricts the original 'A' series from reaching big BHP figures, Here at morspeed we can now go even better and offer a TWINCAM 8v x-flow port engine conversion which has proven to outflow full race 5-port cylinder heads even in standard form.
